A beautiful day under the Roman Sun!

(even though it's 5 degrees out here!)

Today the sun was out so we could have lunch in our garden.. And Amelie could catch some sun! She is doing great and life with her is just fabulous. I know it sounds like i'm just another proud daddy but she is really becoming some sort of public attraction, people stopping us on the street, in the supermarket or wherever we are to awe, oooh and aaaah over the overwhelming rand radiating beauty of Amelie.. Moreover It seems to me that she's the most intelligent and reactive newborn in the world. But i might be a couple of newborns off, not sure about that. She does have some tummy aches at night and when she does, she lets us know. In her own special, LOUD way. We're trying to find solutions and we're dealing with it pretty well, fortunately she lets us sleep from 12-1 AM till 7-8 in the morning (or at least me, Alessia has to breastfeed her at 4 am).
Other than that, when she wakes up she just smiles at you in a way you want every day to begin like that. She becomes more and more reactive every day and when she squeeks (or, talks) she does it in such a way that it seems she's responding to your questions. So we're making conversation these days. Also she found out about her left hand yesterday, she just keeps on staring at it. She lifts it up, turns it around and studies the movement like Arnold Schwarzenegger did when he fixed his hand in Terminator (III I guess) or alternatively Luke Skywalker who just got his bionic hand after Darth Vader chopped it off iwith his light sabre in Star Wars. Anyways I have the feeling she is left handed.. Which indicates a creative mind they say. ..
